Middlegate Coomunity Association HutThe Middlegate Community Association was formed in February 2003 to reflect the changing needs and aspirations of the local community.

Facilitated by Comeunity, Neighbourhood Management, residents and service providers have been working together to create a vision for Middlegate 2010 and beyond.

Partnership working benefits residents, Community Housing, Police, PCT and all other stakeholders and interested parties.

The Association is an independent, democratic organisation run by the membership. It has:

  • A written constitution
  • Audited financial records
  • An annual general meeting to elect officers
  • Membership open to all residents
  • Regular meetings with the opportunity for all members to express their views

Community Hut
The work on the Community Hut on Tolhouse Street has been completed and the centre is open three mornings a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Events
St Nicholas Skate Park is having its official opening on Saturday July 25th from 12 noon. There will be a skate/BMX/blade competition, with free entry and great prizes.
